EB-5 PROGRAM & NOVA SKY INVESTMENTS
💼 EB-5 Program Basics
Q1: What is the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program?
The EB-5 Program allows foreign investors to obtain a U.S. green card by investing in a U.S. business that creates at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
Q2: How much do I need to invest?
The minimum investment is:
- $800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA – rural or high-unemployment area)
- $1,050,000 in a non-TEA location
All Nova Sky projects are located in designated TEAs to qualify for the reduced investment threshold.
Q3: What do I get from the EB-5 program?
If successful, you and your immediate family (spouse and children under 21) receive:
- A 2-year conditional green card
- Followed by unconditional permanent residency
- Later, you may apply for U.S. citizenship
🔍 Investment & Legal Process
Q4: What is the I-526E petition?
Form I-526E is the application filed with USCIS to prove your investment is compliant and job-creating. Once approved, you can proceed with your green card application.
Q5: How long does the EB-5 process take?
Processing times vary. In general:
- I-526E Approval: 12–24 months (can vary based on country and USCIS backlog)
- Conditional Green Card: Issued after I-526E approval + visa availability
- I-829 (Remove Conditions): Filed after 21 months of conditional residency
Q6: Is the investment guaranteed?
No. USCIS requires that EB-5 investments be “at risk.” This means there can be no guarantees of return or capital preservation — though Nova Sky designs projects with strong risk management.
Q7: What is a TEA (Targeted Employment Area)?
It’s a location designated as either rural or having high unemployment, qualifying for the reduced $800,000 investment. All Nova Sky EB-5 projects are strategically placed in TEAs.
